Hi all,

Once your article is on ezines what kind of campaign are you doing to pull attention to the article?

Thanks!

Your ultimate goal is to get long-term traffic by being at the top of Google's SERP's for your keyword phrase. Start backlinking to your article to get it up there in the SERP's.....If you can crack the top 3, your article will be getting a lot of attention!

You should start social bookmarking your article and submitting other articles to other directories with a link back to it.

I concur with Mr. Franklin. Now it is time to get backlinks to your article with the appropriate anchor text. Your article will move up quickly in the searches if you get you backlinks rolling.

About how many backlinks per article?

Again I am still not clear why I would backlink to an ezine article and not my own website. Why not put the content on both and back link to my website.
Ezines may rank higher than my site...but there is only one way to get my site up there along with them.

    Thanks all!

Hmmm... Help give rankings/backlink love to someone else's website or your own? I often ponder this same thought, and I always end up deciding I would rather give the backlink juice to my own website properties not someone else's...

I'm not saying not to give backlink love to your own articles published at other sites, that is definitely a great way to get more exposure, but I personally feel it is more productive to spend more time creating backlinks to my own websites/blogs/articles than creating those very valuable backlinks to someone else's website(s).
