You have several options on how to name your pages, but I usually go with words since (1) it's just easier to see what the heck it is at a glance and (2) Google still likes words in links.

So if you're making a funnel with numerous opt ins and upsells, just name those pages the product name with a number. For example, if my first upsell was a flashlight and i had many variations, I'd name the pages-

    - /flashlight-offer1
    - /flashlight-offer4
    - /flashlight-email-offer
    - /flashlight-subscriber-bonus
    - /flashlight-early-bonus

Now, you're free to do it any way that you want and i'm sure others have a completely different approach. I just do it that way so I can scan my pages real quick and figure out what's what, and you'll have to figure out the method that works best for you.

    Keep it simple.

You can make the home page the squeeze...

Then something like new for the page after they optin.

    upsell1, upsell2, etc.

I agree, but I would never name a page "Upsell2". If I visit a site and I see that in the URL, then I know your only goal is to keep selling me and I'm gone in an instant. I'm sure many others would do the exact same thing.

I see your point, however it depends on the mentality of the person looking at a URL that reads "Upsell2".

For some reason some folks who call themselves marketers, get frustrated when they are being marketed to.

I can't begin to recount how many "marketers" I have seen come into this "marketing forum" and complain about just being faced with an endless upsell or some other marketing tactic when buying a product.

        It totally baffles my mind.

I usually use code like WF101, WF102, etc. Sales, OTO, etc.

Some of my html funnels have URLs like /OTO /Discount
