Fear has kept me from doing things. I think I've been stoopid. No More Fear! My new "SO WHAT"Attitude

Hey All,

I love Internet Marketing and have had a good time bumbling around the net picking up a Washington here and a Jackson there with a few Lincolns and a Franklins in between. However, fear has kept me from doing many things that you all are doing and I just tossed that fear out the window.

Really, I just tossed it out the window 5 minutes ago. Literally 5 minutes ago. I'm sharing this because maybe it will help one other person get rid of their fear.

I've had a ClickBank account for years now, since way in the last century. They even have me approved for a $250 limit I haven't used that High limit. Why?

What if, what if, what if....

What if there are a lot of refund requests, What if affiliates steal commissions from each other, what if for some reason any reason I get banned by CB.

The above is just a side thought on my real fear.

ADSENSE:

I was making $100 or more a month and there was some buzz started about how easy it is to get banned by AdSense. I took down all my AdSense pages because, what if I get banned by AdSense.

See, I like to be in control, It just feels good to me. I walk into a clients place of business and he hands me a check and I take it to the bank.

I set up my PayPal button on my own product and I control whether or not I play by the rules to avoid losing my PayPal account, I'm not worried about some competitor clicking away my PayPal account like they can Click away my AdSense. Having no control over AdSense and ClickBank etc. Is uncomfortable.

OK, I just read a post on the main forum a few minutes ago. A newer Warrior is getting ready to start doing AdSense and another Warrior gave what I considered a great idea.

Then the old what if kicked in. What if the new Warrior gets banned from AdSense and I immediately said to myself, "So What!" If they are banned from AdSense then they can do something else.

Then it hit me. What if I start my AdSense pages up again and then get banned because of this or that. "SO WHAT!" I've been getting along without AdSense for a year now and if I "dare" to try and something happens to my AdSense, life will go on. In the mean time I'm losing $100+ a month. That's $1,200 dollars a year from just one stream.

What If I make that bunch of $250 sales on CB and I get a refund or two. SO WHAT. What if CB bans me SO WHAT, again I've been doing well without them but by not using them I've lost who knows how many $250 sales. Assuming I pay a 50% commission if I only make 1 sale a month that's another $1,250+ from another stream for the year.

Click Bank, AdSense, CPA, and who knows what else. HERE I COME!

Hey Warrior forum, Thanks for providing a place to get things off my chest. The "offliners" just don't understand.

  • As long as you are providing valuable content and putting up the correct number of adsense ads, you should be OK.

Fear kept me back for a long time as well. I broke out of that crap about a month ago, and hit this IM thing full speed. I dont care about failure anymore. I am working systems like never before. And, I am making money like never before.

    FEAR KILLED ME FOR YEARS!!!!

Now, If I could only get over the fear of talking to business owners...

    George, you are (W)right!

My biggest fear is the "it-is-not-perfect-yet"... I should follow your example and jump. So what if it's not perfect?

I was the same way George, but then I figured if I am afraid all the time I will not get anywhere. The people that make the most success are those that take the biggest risks.
