Opening a foreign language website
It has been a long time since I've been on the warrior forum. I would like to share with everyone that physical products have a lot more potential than digital products, and that is how I got out of being a broke newbie.
Anyway, I have been doing quite well in a particular niche, and mostly I have been targeting a particular demographic and getting sales. Recently, I came to know that there's potential for the same product in the Middle-East. I have had just one customer from that region so far, and she has bought and came back for more. Anyway, I want to start an Arabic website. The problem is I know very limited Arabic. I want to hire translators, and web developers who are native Arabic speakers, but the problem is I don't have any way of checking the quality of their work.
Like I said, I don't know Arabic, so even if I ask a translator to translate content into Arabic, I don't know how to evaluate it. I'll have to hire a separate guy for doing the evaluation.
These kinds of worries and not knowing their culture too well is scaring me from taking it forward. I want to know if any of you have ever ran a website in a language you don't know? Did it work? If anyone could give me some tips and pointers regarding things that should be top priority, it would really help.
Thanks
