Clicks but little to no conversions?

I run several blogs. The newest one is Rijalda.com and it promotes several affiliate networks like ClickBank, CJ, Shareasale, etc.

I noticed that I have been receiving about 300 to 400 clicks per day but my conversions are so low. I get about 1 sale every few days. Its a review/comparison blog so that is how i write my content.

Does any one have any tips or can tell me what is wrong with my site.

Being critical the "products I love and recommend" looks at bit too blatant as a money generating platform. Its just a line about each product with your affiliate link. I would say you need to put in much more detail with a personal touch.

Maybe an about you so you can generate some trust, edit, just seen it at the bottom. I think you need to expand on this part though. Try to get it into peoples heads why they should trust you. Thing is anybody half computer savy will realise you are flogging your affiliate links to generate income for yourself, so the reviews need to be pretty damn awesome to overcome this.

How do you send them to the offers? Is it through your email list or embedded on a website? If that's directly from a website 300 - 400 clicks and 1 sale per day is definitely normal.

That's because the traffic you're sending are cold traffic. Try to collect their email and build trust and relationship before sending them to the offer if you really want to have a higher conversion.

Or you can offer a bonus to people who will buy using your affiliate links.

Where are you getting your traffic from? 300 to 400 clicks are a good number to convert.

-where you get the traffic from makes a big difference
-capturing leads from your site is great, but you could make it more enticing, maybe with a pop up box type of plugin
-a review blog should also have negative reviews, maybe a scams section, where you tell people what NOT to buy and why and then show them a good alternative which they SHOULD buy instead, this always works well

and you could of course work on getting even more traffic!

    good luck!

I mentioned this in another thread today ,and I think it is worth a look at.

For your Optin you should consider something like, " Join my Vip List and as a Member you will get EXCLUSIVE promos on the newest innovative products"

    or something of that nature.

Right now your optin gives me little motivation to be a part of

The first step you should consider is creating a sales funnel. This is how you can start creating your list. Later, when you have some members into your list you can create confidence with them and after that you can start selling. Trying to convert with cold traffic is very difficult,

Thank you all so much for the informative feedback.

To answer some of the questions:

The traffic I receive is mainly from Google search engine using natural SEO (keywords, etc.) so I wouldn't call it cold traffic as people search for the particular review.

The product I recommend page could use some updating and I am in the process of expanding it as well.

I will try adding a scams section as well.

    What would you call it?

So 1000 to 1200 clicks per sale? People are using your site in their research and buying somewhere else would be my guess.

I research all over the web but usually only buy from trusted sources even if the price is a little higher.

I would call it targeted traffic. For example, you search Google for "HostGator Review" because you want to read a review on HostGator and possibly looking to purchase web hosting. I would not search for a HostGator review if i was looking for a computer or something else. Therefore, the keywords I use for my reviews/posts are targeted to that specific individual searching for that word.

Cold traffic is like cold calling someone and I highly doubt i would be getting 300 clicks if it was random people.

In addition, all of my affiliate networks have 30 to 45-day tracking cookies.

      Thanks for your feedback.
