Public speaking videos footage as social proof in sales video pitch page.

Hello;

I have good video footage (and photos) of me speaking in public about the info-product I sell. Basically teaching the same thing in small seminar room full of people.

Questions:
1 - Would it be a good idea to use parts of it in pitch page video?
2 - Do I still need to use written testimonials from previous clients? I think these days everyone knows they can be bought. Might be wrong.

    Provided it doesn't slow the pace of the video, yes it would be good. It would reinforce the point that you're a real person.

    They can't hurt. Have a website URL from each client so people can verify they're genuine.

        this is a BIG + people will percieve you even more of an expert if they see you give actual seminars and teach people in real life and not only on the internet, i would go for it for sure!

    Yes is will be a good idea to use parts of it in the pitch video.

    You will want to share one of your best tips or best parts and highlight that in the pitch video to entice the viewer into wanting more of what you have to offer.

    Next time you do a seminar free or paid, let the local newspaper, local radio and television stations know you in town and try to get an interview giving three of your best tips or best benefits and transformational process that your info product provides.

    The media also adds social proof if you giving away good free information to their readers, listeners and viewers. If your information is very good and bring fast results then you will get video testimonials after your seminar to also include in your pitch video.
