Passive Source of Income You Can Build With $300?

Hi! What's the best passive source of income that you can build with $300? Has anybody built a virtually hands-free business that yields at least $3,000 per month with that amount?

I haven't done anything that's 100% passive - almost everything I do online requires at least some periodic work but I've certainly gone for months at a time letting a site do its thing while I work on something else. (I started by spending next to nothing...cheap hosting, a domain name, and free online sites)

The Niche Man poses a great response, though. What might have worked best for one of us may not be something you'd be suited for or even like to do.

It looks like writing is a skill you have, though, and that's suited to a number of "passive-ish" strategies. What kind of work do you enjoy?

Kindle publishing allows many of my clients and the students I coach to make that kind of amount of passive income. It starts off with buying stories and content or writing it yourself . Then it goes onto formatting and cover design as well as light promotion. It can easily cost $300 for a handful of books.

This might be something you should look into doing for yourself.

As Sweetcrabhoney says, KINDLE is the key.

As long as you select the right niche, Kindle delivers passive income.

Write a book once, earn money many times over.

There are many, but those who know are unlikely to share in public. The aim of most of my own models is a passive or semi-passive income. It can easily be done for $300. In fact: it can be done for 99 cents. If you read between the lines, you've just been given a great tip.

There are loads of things that can be great passive income sources. But passive is not easy, it just means you don't have to trade time for money. A good starting point would be create a website under $40 add affiliate links or adsense then drive traffic.

My 11 niche sites and 2 authority sites yield about $1,200 per month (cumulatively w/ AdSense, Amazon Associates, and ClickBank) in passive income, and have done so for 2 years. Here's the thing: this income stream took me a WHILE to build.

If you want the most "bang for your buck", and you want to make a lot of money FASTER, build an email list. It's where 90% of my monthly income comes from, and while it's not 100% passive, it's not overburdening either (I work about 20 hours per week). Private message me and I'll show you how to get up and running and get your first 100 subscribers within 24 hours (no lie, and I want nothing in return). Good luck.

its more going to relate to what you do, not the money you spend. Lots of people started with nothing. so the person asking the question about what are your skills and interest is spot on.

Thank you all for your responses. I'm a freelance writer, so Kindle publishing is something that appeals to me. I'm also planning to set up a blog. It's a "life experiment" blog where I'll be writing reports on the products, methods, theories, etc. that I'm going to test.

Well, that's a good place to start!
Once you have your website set up, you cold try selling ad space or using ad networks to earn some passive income. You might not earn $3,000 a month with ads though, at least not in the first few months.

KDP can be a passive income model. There are several ways to approach it. If I were you, given your writing experience and interest in KDP, I'd research it; but do so, obviously, from a marketer's standpoint. Consider outsourcing, too, if you take the volume approach.

$300 is enough to create a website and buy hosting and even get an auto responder or other services.

From that point on it's up to you to make it work.

Hey cyberdenizen. I asked a similar question a few days ago, here's the thread:

I don't post much on here, but read a lot, and Tom Addams and ContentPro22 seem to be REALLY open with their knowledge and seem like nice dudes, their tips are good

Use your skill - you can write so thats great - research your kindle publishing - put up ten books - 20 books - keep doing it over and over. Make a template for yourself (there are lots of kindle templates around) and then promote yourself via your own website, Goodreads, Facebook Fan pages and the many facebook writers groups.

This will lead to passive income ....
But There is no such thing as 100% passive income - well not until you have put in thousands of hours of nonpassive work lol.

Also there are a bunch of threads with very similar questions and answers.. here's a few I got from another thread

Though the word hands-off or passive seems easy, it's actually not. Yes you can create a kindle book and sell it on Amazon. Let it sit there and cash in. but in reality, you have to create it and market it. Then hope it takes off. Then also hope you don't get negative reviews - an uncontrollable killer of sales and your reputation by the way. Then also hope there's no competition from competing authors. So yes, create once and sell it many times may seem passive, but there's a lot more involve.

I'd personally recommend Network Marketing business, because you can potentially get to 2k, 5k and eventually 10k a month and even more depending on your persistence and work ethic.

Especially if you only have $300, then NM is the best way to go in my opinion.

    Good luck!

Email marketing is the best way. Focus on building your list, getting traffic to a squeeze page, and promoting relevant stuff to your email list.

  • Network Marketing is the best way.. If you have 597 $ , you can make it only in 3 month 20.000 $..

But you must work for this income.. I can tell you.

$300 is sufficient if you use it wisely. You can get a business on autopilot but you really need to know the ins and outs of affiliate marketing before that can happen. The best place for you to start is Clickbank and then you can research which Clickbank product have the highest gravity or success rate.

Once you have found a product that you want to promote, you are going to need to get a domain name that compliments the product. Now you want to build a landing page so that you can build your email list.

Now that you have a product, landing page and domain you need to promote your product so that people will visit your landing page. Your landing page will direct people to your affiliate page and proceed them to join whatever you are promoting. You can find great ideas online and offline for promoting your business.

with that money do the most astute thing

    BUILD YOUR DAMN LIST!

you do not even need a websites.

But if you do have one it will help.

Know a guy that did this, and didnt even have a website. And within 2 months doing $4k a month.

Its doable, but if you doing online stuff, if you are not building your list, you are wasting your time.

Forget people that say it does not work, with mobile email, and smart phones, and wifi, email marketing is working better than it did years ago.

Hope this little tidbit of info helps you.
