Benefits of using Twitter Video?

I recently found out about TwitVid - Share Videos on Twitter and twitcam \ Stream Live on Twitter which allows you to record video from your webcam and post a link on twitter.

What benefits can Warriors see in this? I'm thinking that you can get a message out to your list in a few minutes, less than that even.

I really don't see much benefit in it.
We already have youtube which people
are comfortable with. Why make it harder with
giving too many options?

I understand what you are saying but how quickly can you get a video link into a twitter post?.

With Youtube, you have to record the video, format it to upload it, edit the viewing specifications you want if needs be, and then after the video has processed you can post the link to twitter.

This is just a quick method of messaging all of your followers on Twitter. One of the two allows you upload a video file anyway, it's going to be the same as Youtube. Different hosting options that's all.
