Hi;

Just a warning for newbies (I'm newbie too).

While this forum can help you a lot ( specially by giving you ideas ), you might also get some bad advice!

So hear it out, but don't believe it 100%. Some guys here really have no idea what they talk about.

I'm sure it's not bad intentions and might be just bad experience but either way it could be discouraging or stop you from succeeding.

    Good post and true.

    Newbies...Use your common sense & gut. Everything in regards to becoming a successful Internet Marketer (that makes consistent income online), takes practice, hard work, determination, skill set and a business plan.

    You will also need a 'curriculum', course or system that will hand hold you and teach you.

    There are no 'easy' buttons but there are tools that can help shorten your learning curve.

    People are people, in the world and online. Some have good intentions and some have bad intentions. Some offer great advice and some who don't know what they are doing can offer bad advice.

    This is just one forum online. Take the good and 'discard' the bad.

    In then end, it will be up to you in order to succeed.

    My Advice is that follow what you think that going to work for you business, people always going to try to do advice and do this and then do this (Facebook is dead, not google is dead, not is list building dead) always is a debate.

    Follow a Plan and Stick to that plan, until you have success in whathever you do online.

    We were all newbies once & sometimes I feel we have to take a step back & recognise that.

    My advice is to be patient, take your time to do your research as there as so many ways to make money online. Choose a mentor who has both credibility & success in the industry & go with him/her.

    There are some amazing experienced marketers on here who will also help you along your journey. Keep learning, keep doing & keep going

    The biggest problem I see here is that new members will join with no experience, no knowledge and no real passion for success, but they want to find the golden goose that will make you rich in just a couple of days. So instead of doing any real research or trying to educate themselves, they believe the lie that money will start falling from the sky if you just do this one simple trick....

    Internet marketing does not work that way though, and only the folks with extensive knowledge of affiliate sales and PPC marketing can make extreme cash overnight. But these people also have dozens of traffic sources already in place, they know how to write copy that sells and they know how to properly market themselves...all of which are skills that the average "newbie" would not have.

    So don't drink the Kool-Aid folks because it will only give you a stomach ache. There is real money to be made online but has to be earned.

    It's your duty to gather the information needed to be successful online. I'm sure everything you need to know about internet marketing is laid out on this forum.

    There are numerous components that go into online business, but one thing I can tell you is it's going to take work.

    Newbies think their is a magic overnight success pill that's laid out and are never willing to put in the work. If you are lazy just be lazy, but don't think people are hiding the instant success formula from you.

    If you show people that you are working, you ask questions, and do the work things will open up for you and become more clear.

    Don't give up. Consistency is important. Continue to make progress everyday with learning something new. Continue to do the things you know and get better, while learning another piece of the puzzle.

    This forum is awesome, but nothing is going to be handed to you.
