facebook ads active but no impressions

Hi guys, I m posting about this issue in here because Facebook support does not give any useful solution or response , they keep repeating the same thing.... And the problem persists. Many people are in the same situation..I Don´t know if any one of you guys got the same issue, if he knows the reason and the way to fix it . I keep adding ads and then deleting them again, because it stay in review, or the one that get activated in few minutes don't work, don't get any impressions. Thing is ads were working good for me until the last few days. Thanks

I never advertised (yet) on FB. If I wanted to learn how the right way, I would buy a course or Ebook that would teach me how.

You can also google your queries (outside WF). Just make sure to add the year 2015 to get the newest results.

Get info from Google for Free, use the search feature above to search within WF for posts related to your question and I would still look for a good course on FB on what's working now.

You have to let them sit for a little while.

Right now, on new ads that actually get approved, they don't start spending for at least 24-36 hours.

It could be any number of things but if your ads are getting approved the issue may be your Ad Set settings - what size audience are you targeting, what bidding option are you using, what was the suggested bid vs the bid you chose if you went with manual bidding, etc. If you're underbidding the audience you may never get any impressions.

This is interesting - I'd run ads last year sometime and then took a break to work on other strategies. Set up a campaign last week and the first one did take several hours before impressions showed up but campaigns since have run pretty quickly.

I can't tell if any of the speed of response has to do with using ads that have run before, ones FB ads history, the audience targeting, or - and probably more likely - the Ad Settings, but it's good to know that a dead period is not uncommon these days.

I'm speaking strictly on a new campaign basis, and from my experience, most of them are new accounts all together. I can get my ads to approve within an hour or so, but it takes at least a day for them to either start warming(spending) or get banned completely.

After an account starts spending, whether it's warming, or going to offers, I never let it sit dormant. At the minimum I'll let it spend $10 a day on page likes or boost post, just to keep it active, while raising the billing threshold.

A lot of times I've had an account stop spending for a couple days on accident, and when I go to put another ad up, it soft bans within a few hours.

Have a little patience, especially if you just launched your campaign. I've noticed that certain niches perform exceptionally well with FB advertising compared to AdWord (and cheaper). Not all...just some. Good luck.

I have nothing to add to what Sojourn had said.
