Best places to find Beta testers

Im currently in development of a website which helps startups launch their business, are there any places people can recommend beta testers?

Obviously friends and family are good, small jobs on Odesk, and posting on this forum...
But are there any other avenues I am missing?

    Forums are a great option. I get a lot of beta-sign-ups from sites like this one, blackhat, etc. Ask and they shall come.

    Be aware, however, that some people will sign up just to get a free product or service. So you'll need to put something in place that blocks access to things that already work well and don't need testing. At the very least, put a timer on things that need testing so that your testers don't become permanent, non-paying users.

    Create a page specifically targeting people launching sites and post in the classifieds section here. If you get enough reviews, this should generate quite a few leads.

    Probably the most active and prominent place to find new Beta’s. Betali.st will list almost any startup that meets basic quality guides.

      Yes I have seen this site. I wont be placing my website on there as we can be seen as a competitor, however I haven't thought about contacting the startups listed on them!
