wallpaper websites?

I'm going to be attempting to make a series of wallpaper websites and was looking for advice. Anyone do them before? What did you use for hosting, what did you use for diaplaying the wallpapers.

Basically I'm looking to monetize them and make this my project for the rest of the year. Any advice is greatley appreciated. Thanks!

    Wallpaper sites aren't what they once were. They were easy to rank for, and ctr was high because people were landing on your page ready to click the download button. The internet is littered with them now...

    Your main concern is how to get traffic and differentiate yourself from all the garbage out there trying to rank for "free wallpapers."

    If your site is going to be like the typical wallpaper sites just gathering images off Google images, I think there are better projects you can devote "the rest of the year" to.

    Well they are geared towards a specific market that has lots of oppurtunitys to make some sort money. Its hard to saying what my niche is haha.

    But like I said I'm just looking to see if other people have templates etc. That have used and had luck with prior.

    I made a wallpaper site and trust me mate people never clicks on the ads. Never. They just want free stuff. If you know graphics works then you should make wallpaper and sell from your domain.
