A lot of warriors would be using camtasia to record videos and presentations. So I am asking the question here.
After recording, editing and producing... In the final video, the mouse cursor is not smooth. It skips in frames. Is there anyway to make it smooth? |

Much of the problem you mention has to do with the frame rate you've set for the output and potentially hardware acceleration on your computer. I'd test out the frame rate option first and set it to a higher number of frames per second. This is the best idea that I can think of to resolve your problem.

I use Screen VidShot, don't have such problems. Maybe you can try downloading a trial of some other tool.

Under the tools tab, click "options".
Check the box next to "Disable display acceleration during capture". You'll get a warning box. Not a big deal. Just telling you that your screen will go black for a second before and after your recording. Just make sure that you check the box so the display acceleratioin is DISABLED. Also, I'd go into the control panel on your computer and go to the "mouse" section. Change the properties to use the Windows Standard (extra large) cursor. It's easier to see in your videos. You can also slow down the speed at which your pointer reacts. |
