What are your favorite Social Networking Sites

Hi Warriors -

I am looking for your input -

What are your favorite Social Networking sites?

I have a large list and am trying to narrow it down to the top 10 - 20 sites that provide the most value.

Thanks in advance
-Stefanie

This has been discussed many times and I am sure you could find the threads for this

here is how I choose which sites I want to focus if I am short in time

first thing I do is find out if the sites have a no follow attribute in them, these are deleted from the list

this can be found all over the place how to do this or even a list may exist as well

next thing I look is which ones produce traffic

you want eyes to your sight well look for the sites that have them

I use alexa as a base for determining this

now don't even waste your time over PR this is a boogus indicator lately

now you have a way to trim the fat from your list and in the end a power list

    Good Luck

    Ed

I get the most value from LinkedIn.

With LinkedIn, I get so many business contacts, investors, partners, mentors, and even outsourcers.

LinkedIn should be your business's best friend. It's the best place to build your business network on your industry.

LinkedIn is a very powerful social networking site. If you spent some time setting up a powerful profile and start networking with successful people in your area of expertise, then you will really benefit.

Facebook also rocks. Having a fanpage is so good for any business

I agree a facebook fanpage for your business is a great way to drive traffic. To maximise conversion it is best to make 10 free posts or advice for every offer you make.

I am not really into affiliate marketing yet, so I am not sure if I can help you choose the best social networks for affiliate marketing...
I know Facebook can bring a lot of traffic to your site but I am not sure if you will be satisfied with the conversion... I use Facebook to get visitors and I believe it helps my PPC earnings too.
You can also try Twitter, fast and simple messages which can attract lot of people.

If you have a business, you must use Facebook. Facebook will be a great additional for your business. You could generate traffic, build your community, and make sales from Facebook.

Twitter is not the best place to make money/ sell something. But, it's a good platform to build relationship with your community.

Pinterest is the newest social media. It's also a good place to generate additional traffic for your site.

Facebook IMO is definitely the best for traffic. But, if you have amazing content - StumbleUpon can be a gold mine!
