.42 is a really, really low EPC, which is an indication that the offer does not convert that well. If I were you, I'd save your money.

$100 is probably a good amount to start out with. Just don't be afraid to switch things up if you're finding you're not having success with certain keywords. Always feel free to talk to your MaxBounty AM to if you need a little bit of guidance. They'll be glad to help.

EPC is not the best indicator of whether or not an offer is converting well. It's merely a general earnings per click average that comes from all affiliates who run that campaign. For instance, the Garcinia offer that ravikmr701 mentioned above is actually one the highest converting diet/health offers at MaxBounty.

All clicks aren't created equal. As well, an offer could have a great looking EPC but clicks could be rarer than an offer with a lower EPC but with more clicks and subsequent conversions.

Our Affiliate Managers will recommend campaigns that have converted well for other pubs, or that have the potential to do so. This is why it never hurts to ask them about a campaign that you're planning on running.

$100 is a good start point but you need to be careful. Do proper research on the offers you need to promote and be sure you are not wasting your time and money.

  • That's a very low EPC. (You won't make money with advertising this low EPC)

Find a different offer, sales funnel to promote

Try a different route. Have you tried promoting through social media? I have had a lot of luck with Facebook ad campaigns and even seeing results without shelling out for ads.

I would pick a different offer /niche if you are just starting out. IMO $100 isn't enough to properly test a high paying offer such as that.

$100 is not enough to compete in this vertical with bing, clicks are expensive for this industry you have not got enough to buy the data that's needed. if you get a budget of around $250 you will have enough to get start testing.

$100 is good to start with, but you always need to refuel and keep adding funds to your advertising budget in order to scale up whatever offer you put on bing.

there is also coupons for free credit as well swarming on the internet.

If you sign up to bing they sometimes send out $100 coupon codes. Look for one of those after sign up.

I think you should make a landing page for the offer before creating a bing ad for it. I tried direct linking on bing ads with a meta refresh redirect but I cannot get a high Quality Score for this strategy. Even though I created landing pages for my bing ads, I am still working on increasing their Quality Scores so my ad could get displayed and earn targeted clicks.

Direct linking with bing ads work for some offers through meta refresh redirect though...

Just make sure your Bing ad is very highly targeted to people who are likely to buy.

My experience with Yahoo and Bing ppc is that if you want to get any sort of decent amount of clicks, you will need a ton of keywords and target "broad"

Highly targeted ads may have fared well in the good 'ol Adwords days, but in order to come anywhere close to hitting Adwords numbers you are going to have to ramp up your Bing campaign huge.

its all about keywords and copy.

I use to be really bad at keywords, but my copy is ok.

So since learning about keywords, and my god, there is an HUGE FORETUNE of keywords, with hardly any competition in bing and YAHOO [well they are both the same thing]

Get in your prospects head, and find out what they want, and what they are after.

Visit forums and see what they are after.

Then use $10 a day as a test, buy data, chuck the crap they dont work, and upscale your winners.

I find diet, financial and relationship niches do well in BING, others dont> But to each their own.

    Hope this helps.

It's a shame you had your account terminated.

Were you directly linking from bing to the offer? You need to know the terms of the network and the specific offer. It is possible they do not allow directly linking.

There's multiple ways to get free Bing Advertising credit so I'd say don't spend $100, buy a credit for $100.

    Cheers,

Get a Bing coupon, they are sold on Fiverr, create a squeeze page with a free ebook to collect leads and then promote the product on the backend... $100 is also a good start... Remember only to use $5 a day at first...do not try to hammer your $100 away the 1st day of your campaign.

Of course, you have a good chance that this $100 will be more than likely a "tuition cost". It takes awhile to really get the hang of PPC. And many lose before they start becoming profitable.

Iam not saying this will be the case. But just be prepared and do not let it get you down too much if it does

You can run a Bing/Yahoo PPC campaign through the Microsoft Ad Center Portal. If you are an affiliate marketer promoting replicated affiliate pages, Yahoo/Bing will pretty much be your best alternative to Google Adwords (as they no longer allow you to promote affiliate sites)

Alternatively, you could try your hand advertising through Facebooks PPC format, although people have told me the traffic there is not very targeted. But I guess it all depends on what you are advertising and what type of budget your working with.

Hey from my experience and a lot of other marketers experience, bings demographic is that of an older one, maybe your offer won't fit that demographic too well!

Hi, some good advice here already. In my experience with Bing, start with $5 a day, bid low to start and take it up slowly. Improving you quality score is really important for keeping your bid cost down so have a landing page. Good luck
