Facebook ad campaign budget formula?

I have so much to learn about Facebook advertising.

I recently ran a six day $15 campaign for my Fiverr profile. I found out that two major west coast universities were in the final two weeks of their semester. I targeted a)18-21 year olds, b)in college, c)English speaking, d)in the specific zip codes of the two universities. I figured my writing, researching, and editing services might be particularly relevant to that demographic right now. The ad reached about 2600 people, and if I understand correctly, the ad was displayed about eight times per person. The entire campaign garnered fourteen clicks.

I have no idea if that was a good result or not, but so far as I can tell, it didn't result in any orders. Is there a generally accepted formula where an ad campaign is considered successful (or at least on the right track) if it receives X amount of clicks per certain amount of dollars?

Thanks in advance for your guidance.

I have used their ad service twice. First time it was for my website in the food and recipe niche and the ad ran for a whole week. I only got 30-40 clicks to my site. A month back I decided to give this service another try and registered for one in which you have to spend the least amount and ran the ad only for a day. Guess what I got around 200+ likes for my FB page in a day. So I guess the niche matters. There are no set rules.I was disappointed the first time but this time I was pleasantly surprised
