In your opinion,

what has a better chance of going on autopilot?
1) Blog/authoritative site?
2) E-mail list..
3) PPC

Or what do you think? Basically passive income.

    Hey, all the above have the potential of doing good on autopilot. Truth is you need to put in a little time in to make any of them work for you. With a good email list, you can develop a good strategy to earn on autopilot and that goes for PPC and Blog as well.

    What I can tell you is decide what you want to use, understand your niche and develop a good strategy and implement it.

    Email because of that preloaded AR sequence. You just have to worry about your traffic sources and even then that could be a few well planned media buys that last a few days/weeks.

    I wouldn't do email without a well designed sales funnel, though.

    PPC is out of the question due to monitoring and adjusting bid cost for most networks. And that authority site needs constant content and social exposure to get traction.

    So email, by far, is the most autopilot. Though i wouldn't recommend going fully autopilot for any business. You can always tweak your campaigns, emails, traffic sources etc to yield better results.

    because you can just spend 5-10 minutes sending an email to a large list, and you make huge commissions. Or just setup a long autoresponder, and make huge commissions on autopilot

    Autopilot is a myth.

    Possible? Sure, I suppose. Can you do it? No, I wouldn't count on it.

    Build a real business, with real benefits to real human beings. And let them see that you are putting real labor into it. That is how you bond with them, and nurture them into real, long-term customers.

    You can already rule out PPC since it demands so much tweeking and readjusting. An email list is probably the closest you can get.

    I don't think full autopilot is feasible with anything on the list. IMO you'd be better off looking at "minimal effort" opposed to autopilot

    When you have a blog, it's customary to build a list as well -- acts like a secondary stream of income for your blog (outside of getting found via the search engines). Having a blog could also include, PPC, but I wouldn't go into that unless -- I had some money saved up and were already making money via my blog from search and my e-mail list. This way, you'd know which keywords to target for an ad campaign and which products convert the best before you go spending money.

    I'd never go autopilot with PPC. I'll check my campaigns every day to make sure I'm not wasting money. No campaign performs the same.

    With Email marketing on the other hand, you can achieve some level of automation (not 100% though). Once you load an autoresponder sequence, you'll just have to send new leads to your list to make money.

    But, wouldn't it still be better to tweak the messages and offers continuously? To maximize profits.

    An authority site is NOT a passive income model, in my opinion, especially with the latest Google updates. You might want to keep adding more content to your site.

    So, out of the 3 methods you've mentioned, I'd choose E-mail marketing.

    For the reasons mentioned in the post above, I'd go with the email list as well. However, I don't think you can literally go on full autopilot with this either, but having to choose between the 3, this is your best bet.

    But from personal experience if I had to choose one more favorably over the others it would have to be a Blog. Just because I have several blogs I have not visited for years that still earn income thru
