Blog to Clickbank Offer

Hello,

Is it a good idea to create blog posts about say hairloss using PPC, and then have the product at the bottom in a call to action?

Should I do opt in pages or direct to sales video?

You might want to play around with the layout of your posts.

I know for a fact that Google AdWords can make PPC campaigns very expensive due to their quality score system.

If you lay out your content wrong or your content looks like spam, you would be paying through the nose for every click your campaign gets.

    I would suggest the following.

First, focus on obscure yet highly intentional keywords.

What I mean by highly intentional is that these keywords are the types of keywords people who are looking to learn something about your product would type into Google.

Second, keep experimenting with your site layout

It's extremely important that your landing page looks like an actual web page.

This means that it has to have links to other places on your site.

However, it has to be also clear that the email collection portion is apparent.

This is kind of tricky because you're trying to inform, but at the same time you're trying to get the reader to do something.

You would probably have to go through a few bucks in the beginning to get the mix right and to optimize your quality score.

    It is worth doing though.

Sending PPC traffic to an article is something I'm seeing more of nowadays. One thing though,I wouldn't try to sell anything with the call to action. I would try to get the optin/lead first then try to convert them to a customer with email followup. Just a suggestion.

      Good suggestion.

If you don't opt them in, you're losing your traffic. Those people will never return, unless you have a way of getting them back (without paying more money): enter email marketing. Cheap and effective, and you also get the bonus of marketing more products to the same people. Can't beat that, for sure.

This makes even more sense in the realm of Clickbank products, which are notoriously difficult to sell "on the spot." So with emails, you can build some trust with them (i.e. show them you're not just another marketer who's after a quick buck) and then you have better chances of making consistent sales.

    Hello,

    How is it going?

Making a blogpost about an affiliate product is a good idea especially if it is a product review.

Creating a PPC campaign for it is not recommended but optimizing your blog for the Search Engines is highly preferred.

If you want to use PPC, you should be building your list with it.

Going direct to sales video seems like it really would work. As a newbie ,I thought this. But across the board it is far less profitable than doing Optins with a giveaway followed by Follow Up emails

  • Both can work, however it all depends on ''Profit Margins''

Click-though-rates on blog posts will probably be no more then 15%.
I would use optin-page, because you can then contact those contacts again and again.
