Hey Everyone,

Just getting started as a vendor, and I am a bit confused about some of the different sites and lingo.

I currently have 3 products within my niche listed on ClickBank. But, I just discovered JVZoo. Is this the same type of service as ClickBank, or do they provide additional services that are complimentary and can be used with my existing ClickBank account?

To sell, market, and attract affiliates, do I need to choose one or the other? And if so, which is the preferred service?

Thanks for the advice.

Chris

As a vendor it has to be clickbank, they have a larger publisher affiliate base...

As an affiliate, it has to be jv zoo, they have some superior converting easy money affiliate programs.

Thanks for the response. Does JVZoo offer any benefits to me as a vendor to get my products in from of affiliates?

After doing some research here on the forum, it appears that ClickBank is a better fit for Health/Fitness/Workout products than JVZoo. Is that the general consensus?

I guess I'm just getting frustrated not seeing any traction with ClickBank yet.

That's because Clickbank has nothing to do with a vendors traction, or lack thereof.

The main mistake I see that vendors make is relying too much on a market place to move product on its own, whether that be Clickbank, JVZoo, or other.

Therefore I would assume that if your product was listed on JVZoo,
you might experience the same issue.

What are you doing to promote your products from your end?

          Start there...

A lot of product builders do very well with JVZoo, it is probably more 'dynamic' in terms of launches, and affiliate activity - because there are regular product releases in the IM space, there is also Warriorplus - it depends on the niche you work in really.

Right now I'm blogging, using YouTube, and doing Facebook and Google Adwords campaigns. Anything else I'm missing?

I'm definitely not just throwing a listing on ClickBank and hoping that affiliates will find it. I'm willing to do the work and spend the money to promote, I just want to be sure I'm utilizing all the best resources.

    Thanks

I think you are on the right track. You just keep on sharing valuable content to your blog and include a squeeze page in there to build your list. Of course you should create a lead magnet for your squeeze page such as a free helpful report related to the product you are promoting.

Monitor your PPC campaigns and optimize them by spending more on the winning ad campaigns and deleting the losers.

You may also want to create a facebook fanpage with a squeeze page in there and promote your page. Your CPC can be lower through this route and not only that, you can build your list first before you present your main offer.
