Anyone use "AlphaPal" to test PayPal?

I get very frustrated trying to use the PayPal Sandbox ... it absolutely drives me crazy how complicated they make it, so today when I stumbled over this site ... AlphaPAL - PayPal Simulator - PayPal Fee Calculator - PayPal Button Designer , I got very interested, but of course wanted to check it out with all my heros here in the WF.

That URL leads to their new site, not yet live. Their live site is at http://alpha2player.com/AlphaPAL/

So, dear Goobers, is it legit, and is it as easy as the site claims?

As always, your advice is welcome and appreciated!

I do use the PayPal sandbox quite a bit. However, I think I'll have to check out the site you are talking about .. see what it's all about.

Once you set up the Paypal sandbox I think it is pretty simple. I personally would not like to give out other information to a third party without some sort of guarantee of who they are.

By the writing style on their website they seem to be Indian but I could be mistaken.

Just go to paypal and then developer then training and they have some good videos on how to use and set up sandbox.

I use AlphaPAL about everyday and that's quite natural as I wrote it

for my own use.

I was checking my server logs when I saw the warrior link, had to check it out and this forum looks quite interesting.

I am glad to see you may be interested in AlphaPAL and I'll give you here some information that you could have obtained freely if you had clicked "About" in the main menu of the new site

As Kirk said so accurately, Sandbox had driven me crazy when I was doing the IPN for Alpha2Player.com (an audiophile player) so I wrote AlphaPAL, for me only.
That's why it looks like ****, it was not planned for you.
Then, as I am a nice guy, I let others use it and now I am trying to make it a bit more professionnal.

Unfortunately, I am very busy so it won't happen overnight.

I will try to make things free as much as possible, but some of them like sending emails won't be, unless enough people help to pay for my bandwith or click on the ads.

Here is tip for you, don't ever put anything confidential on the net. As soon you click it is already on google and many other sites that have nothing to do with the one you are actually visiting.
I guess you put anything on facebook and do not even know it is owned by the CIA, are you ?
Why do you think I did my own SHARE bar (alphapal.net/calculator.php) instead of using addThis ?

Anyway, AlphaPAL is no better than Sandbox, it is just less but faster and if it can help you, please help yourself. Just don't abuse my bandwith.

Currently, AlphaPal only send 4 IPN variables. Tonight, I will make a password for users of this forum so you'll get all the vars (just like me)
The password will be "warrior", and should be valid till the new version takes over.
To work, remember to set the "Account Settings" with the same Merchant ID as in AlphaSHOP or your button code.
