Build Authority Sites or Amazon FBA?

Hi everyone,

Three months ago I started making money online with Amazon Kindle by joining a coaching program that taught me how to outsource books and get a high ROI. At this point I have 22 books that are making me some money but I've came to realize that Amazon Kindle is not the best IM business model out there.
If you ever try it you'll quickly realize that sales decrease substantially after a month or two and after a year sales will probably be non existent.

I've been reading this forum for some months now and I really want to hear people's opinions on whether they advise making money by building authority sites or by getting into Amazon FBA which is hot these days.

I know they both have great income potential.

What I really like about authority sites is that you can have many of them (4-6) bringing in say $1500-$2500 per month which turns out to be a fantastic income. It is definitely hard to get that many authority sites making that much but I am sure if one works hard anyone can make it.

As for Amazon FBA, the opportunities are limitless as well. Private labelling is the best business model and some people are doing very well by outsourcing their physical products and leveraging Amazon's brand by selling it through Amazon's channel. Profit margins are great - If well planned you can make a killing with a single product.

Anyway, would really like to hear your opinions.

Authority sites can definitely be scalable but you have to make sure you hit the right niches. It's not like you can just buy such sites off Flippa. Also, the timeline for your ROI might take a long time to start paying off if you have too many competitors.

Focus on the right niches and provide REAL quality content and you should be fine if you want to go the Authority site route. As for Amazon FBA, make sure you pick products that are not saturated yet. Be mindful of Amazon's costs because you'll probably have to run a loss first.

Ask yourself this question - which site will get more buyer traffic - a niche site that i build or Amazon.com ?

IMO that is obvious. Authority sites are great they have value and can be lots of fun. No need to be just one or the other. As for which site can generate the most sales I expect that a well run FBA business will be far ahead of an authority niche site.

I think Amazon FBA is the path that offers the highest likelihood of success, and the possibility to start seeing the quickest returns.

Good luck making just ONE authority site, producing $1500-2500/month, nevermind 4 or 5...

Amazon FBA involves physical products, so it's a REAL business, not clicking ads and writing content...so if you are ready for that, then try it by all means.
