Acai Products - Forget it?

I got accepted to a cpa network that has a great acai offer - EPC is high, conversion is ridiculous...! Offer page is great so I can see why, but my question is... should I put my time to it or is it impossible to make it work now?

Up where? To the top of Google? Don't worry about that, get your own traffic. Don't worry about the competition either, do what you want to do.

Did you check into the product carefully and make sure it is not one that rips off the consumers credit card? Most of the free acai trials are rip offs. Are you comfortable with that? Acai is a good product but many acai offers are not. I have an acai site with a reputable company...if you pm me your network I can probably tell you. I bet I can guess what it is....

Acai is a tough market but made tougher by the enforced continuity programme - Yes - they charge your card even if you cancel. There have been many complaints about the antics associated with this 'free' offer.

Try Resversatrol(sp) instead. That is the future Acai. It is starting to get just as competitive, but there are some great keywords you can target with article marketing.

Please IM me with the reputable Acai company. I'm still under 15 posts. I'm very excited in using CPA, but I have this stupid ethical problem after researching Acai trials on scam/complaint sites. I wonder why CPA Networks don't look into the legit ones first.

It can still be a good market, but it the market is really getting slammed by negative press so you really need to consider if you can sleep at night if you are promoting one of these "shady" programs.

Also, how are you promoting this? Will you be using PPC or SEO/article marketing/bum marketing?

I chose not to market Acai products based on conscience and ethics. The claims made by the companies selling acai for weight loss are vastly exaggerated. It's a great antioxidant, but weight loss product? Not so much.

It depends on the company. I market an acai product that is very honest. I did not go in for the free trial acai when I started. I found a supplement that is one time buy, pay up front, 60 day money back.
They are honest and ethical.
And its an excellent product which I use myself.

I just recently found another offer that has a trial and that one is good to, though almost all free trials are not.

Please don't lump them altogether.

And yes Acai still does very well.

To be fair, there have been 18 complaints on acaislimdiet on that board in roughly the past year. I'm sure there's 100K plus orders of this product, but still...it's the usual suspects...rebilling/overbilling and not canceling is their MO.

Acai is a tough market, to many people bidding on the same PPC keywords, to many fake flogs and other sites. Not saying it can't be done, but unless you've got about 30k of cash to throw around, you won't get anywhere.

As a site flipper, I have seen many people trying to dump their acai sites on Flippa ... Personally, I would not promote any forced continuity programs at all ... none.

I wouldn't bother too much now. Adwords have given it the flick and unless you have a lot of cash to play with on the media networks, I wouldn't bother. Build something that will be around for a while and you'll be better off in the long run.

Having lost 50+ pounds myself and gone thru a tremendous amount of research while doing it, I find it very difficult to believe ANY pill or berry or what have you will help you lose weight.

Losing weight (and keeping it off) requires a lifestyle change. Pills/whatever don't cut it.

The flip-side of all the Free Trial garbage is that a good quality site with some good quality Acai can make a mint.

Market it for what it is, market a good quality product and there is tons of money to be made.

A good quality Acai affiliate program will pay as much as the Free Trials anyway, so why market c**p. Plus your target market is wising up and sites with Free Trials are getting short thrift.

Anything with:
Free Trial on a CPA basis
MLM structure
Touting Acai as a Weight Loss Pill

Steer clear. Just my opinion of course

Acai is an antioxidant. Look for merchants marketing it for what it is.

I have had an acai site for about a year now. And I have all organic traffic. I have never paid to advertise. I use acai myself and feel it is an excellent supplement.

I carry two products. The first one is a pay full price up front. And I just added another one with the only legitimate free trial I have found.

I am not sure if this is a good time to enter the acai market if you are not already in it..but if you want the names you can pm me, both companies carry other great products also. And if you want to know if the product you are considering is a scam offer you can pm me on that to.

I've heard good things about AcaiPerfection.com.

They clearly have there free trail policy on the page, there is a rebill amount but it's also clearly stated and it's very reasonable in price as well.

What I suggest doing prior to marketing an acai product is calling the company. The number is usually listed at the bottom of the product offer.
With many scam offers the number will be delisted or you can't get through.

I spent about 45 minutes talking to each of the companies whose product I represent, to make sure it was something I felt comfortable marketing.

In addition you should google the product and carefully read any consumer complaints.

It is also important to market responsibly.

And at my website I share that :
~ Oprah never endorsed a specific acai weight loss product
~ If you want to lose weight you have to eat well and exercise
~ Acai has not been proven to help with certain diseases though studies are being conducted that look positive.
~ Acai is a great supplement that can help support the bodies efforts to be healthy
etc.

I feel I share an accurate picture of this supplement and I really believe in the product.

I am happy to share the companies I work with, one has a sub affiliate program, the other does not...just pm me.

Also if you have an acai product you are considering and are not sure PM me I can usually tell you if it it is a scam or not.
