Can I submit blogspot to yahoo or other search engines?

I have several google blogs, I mean blogspot.com blogs. Can I submit them to yahoo or other search engines for indexing?

    Yes you can. Although, it isn't necessary to submit by yours activities. Because Google and other engines index them automatically.

    2 reasons I have to assess it.

    1. There are lots of automated whois sites grab data on new domain names / existing names etc to check for new registrations and/or expiring domains."

    2. You must heard about the googlebots are crawling everywhere, and so are the bots of the other search engines.

    Yes...

    Here is what I do for new blogger blogs in order to get indexed by bing/msn in the next 24 hours.

    1. I copy the complete URL and paste it in the search box of msn.com

    2. If your site appears in the results, it is already indexed but if not, it will tell you NO RESULTS FOUND.

    Just head on at the last line and look for the statement that says:

    "If you cannot find a page that you know exists, send the address to us."

    Click on the link: send the address to us and then follow the instructions from there.

    This is a simple trick to get your new blogger blog get indexed fast.

    Yes blogspot can be submitted to other search engines as well. It is not mandatory to submit in google only but if done on google would be given a prefernce to crawl fast..

    Thanks for that Yahoo link Discrat I knew of the Google indexing and use it all the time, but for some reason I have never thought of submitting to Yahoo as well...maybe because Yahoo only gets around 10% of the search results, but I suppose getting every listing out there attracting visits is very important.

    You can ping your blog to blog search engines every time you make a post. I use pingomatic to do this.
