I've been doing IM for a year but honestly i still feel a newbie.I want to learn more and try different ways in marketing.I"m working as a freelancer through IM and want to try like affiliate,PPC and more.

Ive been in internet marketing for four years i joined in january 2005 even though i had done direct mail etc before this.

how long have you been doing it for - it seems a shame that you open this post but dont give any details about your own time on here.

I started in 1994 - before there were websites. I guess that makes it 15 years?!

Boy, do I feel old...

For the past 6 years, it's been the only thing I do (I would say full time, but I never really worked full time). Until then it was very part time.

I had my first shot on internet marketing about 3 years ago (so I'd say 3 years of IM marketing for me) but then had to take a forced break. When I returned some few months back, everything has changed. All sources of web traffic has changed and become more difficult. Now, there's what we called the 'Google Slap' which I experienced immediately after coming back. I'm learning again & hope things will sew itself together for me soon...

I have been online about a year but really only the last few months have been succesfull. You can be an expert in one field in a few months and a newbie for years in another. As the Internet evolves so must you.

I've been failing for almost 4 years, but now I'm starting to get it. I know all about the stuff and don't work which I've tried out.

Now I'm taking off. This year is my year, it started of well and is getting better, I now see my dreams coming true.

I can say "I'm making money online" after 4 years of failure.
