This is a niche that is extremely saturated. You need to provide real value and be good at driving traffic to the site to find success IMO.

It is a saturated niche, but there is still money to be made. Think about ways to make your site stand out from the others.

I doubt this niche will ever be completely saturated since it is the main reason people are searching the web when it comes to earning a living. You just have to be a little creative. If you are a good writer include a blog section and write (or have written ) detailed posts - big ones - like 4000 to 8000 word, Start a nice fan page on FB, There are literally MILLIONS of people on facebook who want ways to earn online .. all you need is to direct some of those people.

As well what is your unique proposition..just one thing can make you stand out

I mean any market that is evergreen, inexhaustible and ready to learn and buy will never be saturated if you provide some good information. The mobile phone industry is saturated but you don't see anybody tossing in the towel

The "make money online" niche is a profitable and competitive one. With that said, any profitable niche (one that provides the opportunity to generate a great deal of money) is going to have competition. While this may seem scary, you also have to consider the other side. The more competition there is within a niche, the more products there are too promote. All you have to do is figure out an angle to get your foot in the door.

Finally, I"ll say this. You shouldn't go into the "make money online" niche until you've had some success outside of the niche. This is the only way you'll know which products really work (what those that work need to teach the user) vs. the ones that are scams. I mean, the only way I would consider entering this niche as a newbie is if I were doing stuff outside of the niche and documented my journey on like a "make money online" blog -- like a case study.

The "make money online niche" has a very high competition. It means there is lot of money to be made.

As for any niche; the higher the competition, the more money can be made.

You can still proceed with your plan but watch your numbers, it has to give positive cashflow.

It's competitive, but that doesn't mean you can't make money.

My suggestion: Visit Backlinko.com and MatthewWoodward.co.uk. Analyze how they do things (quality, article length, engagement level, etc).

If you do anything less than that, you're probably gonna have a tough time making the blog successful.

My advice is subjective, of course -- but nevertheless, those two blogs will give you a general idea of the kind of quality needed nowadays.

If you're a good marketer, no market will be "too saturated". You've just got to think outside the box, plan smart, and always, always, always take action(s) in response to FEEDBACK.

Honestly, that niche isn't completely saturated, there's still a lot of room left to invest in it. In 2013, it was pretty profitable venturing in it. Currently it's gradually raising . INVEST IN IT! DIY first and test its viability.

Someone else said it. Let me be blunt and direct - but not to be offensive; merely to make you think. Nobody wants to buy anything or take any advice from a N00B in any market. Yourself included. You aren't interested in hanging out on MMO sites run by guys that have not succeeded at MMO, are you? At receiving business consulting advice and pointers from someone who doesn't have a profitable and successful business? A Dr. who left medical school 2 years early and knows less than the successful Drs.?

Of course not, and Pat Flynn scooped up the 'watch me start out and post my monthly earnings while you follow my MMO journey' angle long ago (good on him for that part of his stuff, at least). So, why do you think anyone would find any Value on your site, ValueNick?

I'm being blunt, because if you are asking this question, you have about a 99.9% chance of losing every penny and every second of your life you spend on a MMO site, trying to get it to, well, M-you-MO, lol.

Don't give up, just find a different vertical to play around in ...

A lot of people are doing the same thing these days. If you have something unique to offer, then you might survive the competition but if you don't have anything to become your advantage, try a different niche instead. There are many niches available. Just choose one that is best suited for you.

It's a highly competitive niche, but if you try hard enough to succeed, then go for it! If you don't, someone else will anyway! It's like it was already mentioned above, you need to put your creativity to a test and see if you can offer something new and insightful, to stand out from the crowd.
