They do accept paypal. The only caveat is that if you use a promotion code it can take away the paypal option to pay.

The only caveat with 1and1 is you have to actually use 1and1. They suck.

I have been slowly transferring all of my domains away from Godaddy. And I am glad I am... This week, I needed to contact their support for something minimal and noticed they have fully removed email or contact us support. They only have phone support available.

I purchased domain on GoDaddy about 2 days ago and they accepted PayPal. Maybe because I've been a customer for a while? How new is your account? HostGator is another option to consider. Check them out! Good luck

well i've been with them since 2005 and i Always had the PayPal option, but suddenly it's gone, maybe that's because i'm in Belgium , although PayPal is much used here too

I just use my debit card at Godaddy. Don't you have a debit or credit card you can use?

  • Belgium is still listed.

Your issue is probably this: "Some promotional codes are not compatible with PayPal and, if you are using them, will not give you the option to add PayPal to your account nor process orders with PayPal."

The latter happens for example when you get an email where Godaddy is giving you some sort of a deal on a new .com, or you log in and you see a .com deal, and it only costs a few dollars. In most cases, they will take credit cards for that deal but not Paypal. (your paypal option will magically disappear in the checkout).

    That is very odd!
Anyway, I have switched to namecheap a while ago, check them out if you still have trouble paying for the domain.
