What is the best modern solution for 1-click for opting-in via social media?

Hey guys,

I'm still using the "give me your email in return for this freebie" strategy on my own site to build my list (using Aweber).

These days, it's old school and people are less and less willing to give their email.

What is needed is a "download via facebook, G+, twitter etc.. here"

Readers click their preferred social site and it signs them up automatically. No need to fill anything in (we get the email they use for facebook etc.). Or perhaps they get the download in return for a 'like' of our facebook fan page.

I did try Optin pressor, but it was not for me. And the buttons were amateur looking.

It needs to be clean and professional looking and easy to set up. There should be options for in-line, lightbox and so on.

So, the old method just isn't working. What are you guys using or what would you recommend?

Thanks for any help

Mark

Considering that there is already an existing model for this, why don't you invest in your business by having this lead for content script custom coded?

PRO TIP: Make sure your coder gives you full documentation so you can have another work on updates in the future.

Freelancer.com is a great choice due to their huge selection of affordable coders.

  • stick with Aweber, however TURN-OFF the confirmed optin button.
    This wil increase conversions greatly.

Have you seen the script "Pay with a Like"?

There's a good one from wpmudev out there as I remember...

Getresponse has that functionality meaning if the visitor has already signed in to his Facebook, a FB signup form appears. It lags few seconds in my opinion though.

Really? I find that to be absolutely false. My squeeze page still converts tremendously, and my follow up email marketing campaign is still highly converting. Why try and re-invent the wheel?

What makes you think that "1-click for optingin via social media" won't become *old*. After that, then what information will people give to get a freebie?

Honestly.... you should go back to the "old" method. Your niche selection and landing page might be the problem as to why you aren't getting alot of leads. You want to boost response? Add a hover ad to your page.
