How to get more orders as a music transcriber?

I work as a freelance music transcriber via the internet. To generate orders, I copy and paste the same advert on various musician related discussion forums, as well as in the 'musician services' section of Backpage.com

Over the past few years I've managed to make a reasonably steady extra income doing this, so that tells me there is demand for this service. However, I have to constantly paste the ads out there, otherwise the orders stop coming in, and it takes a lot of time to keep posting ads everywhere.

But I'm wondering, is there a smarter and more efficient way to generate enquires from people who need a piece of music transcribed?

I don't have a website, but I'm looking at a way that when people search Google for 'music transcribers' or 'music transcription' that they find me and they can then contact me, so I can generate enquires on autopilot without having to sit around pasting ads all day.

How do I do this? Should I set up a site with sitesell.com, which helps generate a lot of traffic and income? I have heard that sitesell is an idiot proof way to set a website that people will be able to find on Google.

First of all, you should never give up on your current traffic source. Just work smarter. If I was you I would do 2 things.

    1. Hire a VA to outsource the whole ads posting every day.
    2. Start a blog, establish authority on social networks and outsource the SEO in order to rank for a specific keyword.

Hi, these are great suggestions, thanks. How do I outsource the SEO to rank for a specific keyword? I mean who can I trust to do the SEO work properly, and how much would it cost? (I've heard that using sites like fiverr for SEO work is a bad idea).

Definitely steer away from Fiverr. Probably best to check out the classifieds section here on the warrior forum and to look for sellers with a high reputation and lots of reviews with positive results. It doesn't have to be expensive, I reckon with a few hundred dollars you can definitely get started with a new site and SEO done for it. You'll also probably going to need articles to post and such which you can also outsource for very cheap at sites like iwriter.com

Alternatively, targeting musicians on Facebook using ads might also be a good idea.
