kazim offered some great suggestions which I think I will probably try myself in some cases.

In my experience, Pinterest is about the right person pinning your image. I have had boards do nothing with several following then that one person come and pins to the right crowd and WHAM on turns the traffic and sales faucet.

You will need to increase those followers, with 132 you can't really do anything. Once you gain more followers place some Health related offers.

My girlfriend uses pinterst tons. It was amazing to see... thousands of pins... she's always on it. She also has a ton of followers because she is always interacting. She even forced me to use my dormant account so she could send me recipes and other random things.

I was amazed at how much is on it, and how much potential it had.

Just like any other social media network, it takes interacting to work.

I have an offshore team that increases Pinterest followers by following the right people. I have been able to grow 2 different accounts to several thousand active and engaged followers while only following a few hundred specific people. Get in touch with me privately if you want to use this service.

I've had success with creating and posting original infographics that contained the web address of my site. They get re-pinned regularly. It's difficult to measure what traffic comes from them but it certainly doesn't hurt.

Consistency. That's the biggest thing for me. Here's a typical day on one of my websites

This is from a set of accounts, and most of them have less than 1000 followers. But I have over 30,000 pins on them over the last two years. These are "funny pictures" and memes.

Look at the popular things on Pinterest and try create content for it.

      Clothing
      Food
      Flowers
      Homey Stuff
      Motorcycles
      Cars
      Funny Jokes
      Ecards

These are what I've found do really well.

Consistency is key. I get around 10,000 uniques a day from Pinterest across many sites and it's mostly just consistently posting every day. I also use automated means, but you don't have to.

Are your memes yours or do you just pluck them out from some site like Facebook then share it there?

Both. I create a lot, and many are user submitted or copied from somewhere else.

I'm a Pinterest user - no claims to being an expert
    but from a user perspective . . .

Pinterest is part social network and part image
    search engine to me.

I go there looking for ideas related to items I'm
interested in where seeing photos is more valuable
    (and faster) than text.

I now do about as many searches on Google where
I view images, rather than text as well.

So, my guess at strategy would be . . .

    1. Like other Pinterest pages related to your topic.

    2. The images you share should always point back
    to your site.

    3. Original images will probably help you most.

    4. How can you create value, and for who, with the
    image collections you put together?

    5. I don't know if, or how well, it would work but
maybe try pinning one of your first images with a
prompt to "follow" you. I often find a page I like,
run off on an idea and forget to go back to
something I'd enjoy seeing more of.

  • 1) Change your bio, and website url, to the page you want to promote
    2) Create pins with great images and strong call-to-actions

  • Pinterest is a fantastic tool. Choose a niche, only one, and post the hell out of it with up to 50 posts per day distributed during the day. Share quotes, beautiful images, ideas, projects, desires and let people feel at your same level. That's the secret.

    Bye bye,

It's pretty easy. All you gotta go is find people that are in your particular niche (usually have lots of followers). Then, you check out the followers that are following them. These are the people that you actually want to follow you. Once you start following these people, they will follow you back -- as long as you've already got pins and stuff like that.

If they like your board and follow it, your post will not only show up on your board but on the person's board who is following you as well. If this sounds confusing, Youtube it and look for Jay, "the lazy ass stoner." The name is funny, but he knows his stuff.

It can't be that hard. I set up a small account 2-3 years ago and mostly forgot it. In the last six months I have been getting notifications of new followers several times a week.

    I have no idea why.
