It's when the user gets charged on a monthly basis, and you get paid your commission on a monthly basis.

It's recurring income. Happens again and again as long as the user pays their bill each month.

    Unless I'm misreading you?

A recurring fee would usually associate that a on-going payment will be taken out on a regular basis i.e. monthly or yearly. A good example of this might be used for membership sites or group coaching.

The upside is that the costs are generally lower so that it's more affordable to manage your budget on a per month/yearly basis for example.

The downside might be that if you're using certain tools or services, they might prevent access until the next payment has been made.

Hope that helps to give you an idea

    Hi BobanV,

Another example is for a monthly Magazine or Newsletter.

If you mean that you want to promote recurring income products, then it means your income will compound, increase over time.

If your efforts get get you 10 sales each month, then next month you get paid for your new ten sales and the last months as well, for as long as they want the Magazine for example.

In 1 year you would be getting paid for 120 sales. Makes your income grow for the same amount of effort.

    Hope that is clear.

    cheers, Mal.

Well, just think of it from a literal point of view: "recurring" means "repeatedly, periodically", something that happens again and again and again.... So, if you think about it, there are no cons, only pros!

      No. It's not that simple.

You have 3 typical ways to get paid as an affiliate:

      1. PPL (paid on leads/ email opt-ins)
      2. PPS (paid on credit card signups)
      3. Revshare.

Which is the best? It totally depends. Think about how revshare works. You refer someone, they sign up, but - do they stay? Revshare is only a good option for high-retention rate offers; example: hosting. Low retention offers? Split test PPL and PPS to see which one generates the best EPC.

Recurring fee in affiliate marketing is really good as compare to one time fee for referral.
