    Hi R.O.I.

No need to apologize. We all started somewhere.

There are really no requirements for using a .org. The only downside is people typing in your domain from memory; they will often assume every website is a .com.

Other than that you can sell an ebook through .org without any trouble.

    All the best,

Like everyone has sited, no restrictions on buying a .org domain name and no discrimination as far as Google is concerned. However, since .org represents 'organizations', it would make more sense if your store was called "Book Binders Club" or "Book Republic" or something rather than Joe's Ebooks. The Club or Library name to a .org would sound like a better package in my opinion.

    Good luck.

Fellow Aussie here! Get domains names from crazydomains.com.au They are cheaper, yet service is amazing (never had any problems with them). And I actually use them for my hosting too.

P.S. finally, my first post on Warrior Forum
