Affiliate marketers: Never do this...

If you are going to sell affiliate programs, never send people to an affiliate offer straight away.

What you want to do is to register your own domain name and build your own website. Talk a little about you and also show a picture of yourself.

Then at the end of 3-5 sentences of you talking about yourself and who you are and why you want to help them solve their problem, provide your visitors with a link to the offer.

This will increase your conversions.

    Word.

    1. Identify a problem.
    2. Provide part of the solution. (Article, Video).
    3. Offer more of a solution. (Opt-In).
    4. Market enhanced solution or solutions to related problems.
    5. Re-market.

      Tom,

100% of the people on my list bought what I had to offer exactly right after they opted in and never bought through my email sequences. So building a list in NOT important.

Totally agree, buddy. I only offered the traditional solution to help newbies.

The way squeezes work best for me:

        1. Squeeze.
        2. Splash : OfferS with, yes, a capital S.
        3. Freebie: Complete solution (monetized).
        4. Re-market.

I find it depends on what you're promoting. I'm currently playing around with getting all of the splash offers to convert with each action-taker. PPL offers.

  • Yes, you need some type of relationship building, engagement.

Plus, you need a way to contact hot prospects that don't buy.

It sounds simple and really it is, the tricky part is getting them to your page in the first place.

Yeah, leading directly to an affiliate offer isn't smart. That's typically a bad idea - especially if you're selling worthwhile and high priced information products. Leave all the selling till they get to your email newsletter, and all the "goodies" content that you will supply to them... and will eventually convert them.

Direct Linking might not be that smart but, a lot of people are crushing it that way.

I agree with the @TS since this is a good method to increase your conversion however I don't agree that everyone should not do direct linking on an offer.

With all due respect to the @TS, he has a point but adding a landing page before an offer is not the only to increase the conversion rate.

If you are doing paid ads, ad copy plays a very important part in your conversion as it filter out the quality of your visitors even before it hits your landing page.

Your targeting strategies for Facebook, Google and Bing ads can also be a way to increase your conversions. Again filtering the targets to the keywords , audience that is interested on your offers is also a key even before they hit your landing page.

The bottom line here is you have to increase your conversion on matter what so you'll get a better ROI. that's what's important
