This Is Crazy....G+ Posts Problem!

I've been sharing stuff to a community on Google Plus, and have usually gotten several plus ones each time. But I decided to create a different page and share stuff from that to the community instead. I shared 4 different things this morning, and got nothing....no activity on any of my posts.

At the time, I thought it was just that nobody liked them. Then a little while ago, I just discovered by switching to another one of my pages and viewing the community, that none of the posts I had just made (I made one or two several minutes prior to this) were showing up at all! It turns out that I can't view any of those posts from my other pages. Yet when I switch back to using the page that I used to share the posts, my posts once again become viable.

I have concluded that the reason I can't see these posts except when I'm using that page I shared from, is because they aren't actually showing up at all! That's why I never got any activity on any of those posts. I've tested this out also by creating a couple other brand new pages, joining the community, and then posting, and the same exact thing happens. I only see those posts on the community when I'm using that new G+ page.

Has anyone every come across this problem before? I don't know why in the world it would be like this. Yet, just a little while ago I shared a similar post from the page I used to always share from, and bingo, I got a bunch of +1's and likes! What???!!!!!

I have personally never had a problem like this, they could be doing something similar to what reddit do.

if you have posted something that they feel is inappropriate they may have 'ghosted' your account meaning you can see what you post but nobody else can.

But that is just a stab in the dark bro, i really am not sure!

  • samelliss It can't be, but thanks anyway.

Wow, so I just shared something similar from another different page I have and it showed up just fine! I'm starting to wonder if pages need to have a certain number of posts or something before the G+ system will allow their stuff to show up on a community page? This could very well be, since that could be used to fight spam (I don't spam, by the way. my posts are relevant) Once again, I tried sharing from newer pages and nothing.

Are you sure there isn't any kind of "privacy" setting turned on which would make posts hidden from the public? This type of feature is inside Facebook where you can only make posts visible to those who like the page..

Yeah, that's all I can think of too...set the comments to public and see if it changes anything. That is strange.
