How do I make money on YouTube?

Just look at the videos that have 100K+ views and try to make them the same way. Most of the people that have reached this point, also have hundreds of different videos. YouTube is a great way to make some extra money with ads and affiliate products but you have to build trust with your audience as well. It takes time to build it up and the biggest part is to keep posting and share everything with social media

You can either focus on ranking your videos for highly searched keywords or you can just upload videos about topics people want to learn about and just wait for people to randomly find your videos and hopefully start sharing them with others.


You can monetize your videos by joining the YouTube partners program, or you can promote products to your viewers with a call-to-action at the end of each video (tell your viewers to go to your website for more info/help/advice, etc...

You can do it WHITE HAT or BLACK HAT

With black hat, it is very easy and automated.

It is also very unethical and unsustainable.

I'm not going to spell out BH techniques but they are all over the place at Youtube. Hint: has something to do with movies.

For white hat techniques, you need to do the following

1) Pick a low competition niche

2) Get quality videos produced

3) Turbocharge your traffic through Google Plus communities

4) Engage your video commenters

5) Share on your FB fan page and pump up with fb page comments on other fb pages

Upload videos that give lots of value.
Some of my videos have 50k+ views which has happened over a number of years.
They earn good Adsense income.
It's a waiting game.
Do things properly.
Don't buy fake views and likes because this will only work short term.
Go for the long term and make videos that engage the viewer and optimise them for the title and description.
Set up an Adsense account, turn on monetisation on your YT channel and link the Adsense account to the channel.

Ok so currently my video view counts are in the 100's I have 107 subscribers about. Do I have enough activity to make any money at all? Or am I really far away?
