Need some advice on new software

Hello Warriors. I'm in need of some advice.

As a php/mysql developer, i'm looking for suggestions on new software and scripts to build. I know that the more automated a system is, the more time the system's owner has to concentrate on more income. So my question is basically, what kind of tools or scripts do you think would be helpful to automate some of the many tasks internet marketers must complete to have a successful website?

I hope that i'm posting this question in the right place and that it's not too broad. Thank you for any suggestions or advice.

    Hi, twitter auto responders would rock. Try making everything automated PHP - cron, virtual intelligence I guess . lol

      Thanks martin2! I just took a quick look and that definitely looks doable.

      Fernando, do you mean emulate the content on multiple pages or just the home page? Also, would the content be user submitted or would it be drawn from an rss feed or similar by date?

    Maybe a Wordpress plugin that emulates "new content" everyday, twice a day.

    A simple script that goes to site, changes something, hits save and thats it.

    Something that I have been working on but keep getting sidetracked by other ideas is a simple One Time Offer website management script.

    My idea was for a single script and some templates that provide a squeeze page for a free product with sign up facility, then a "real" one time offer page with PayPal - by real I mean that you cannot just revisit the page later - and a simple download management system for the free and OTO product. Facilities for bonus products would be good too.

    I need (want) a product that just works out of the box - I edit the templates and its ready to go.

      Isn't Mike Filsaime's script already provides these function? I can't figure the name though

      Thanks for the post Clive. I've actually been working on something similar that would allow a user to generate their own squeeze page form complete with email and file download capabilities. An OTO sounds like a nice fit!

    Twitter will do something for you. You may try the auto responder of twitter. It do a great job in this kind of activities specially in internet marketing.
