I have an opportunity to get mentoring for thousands of dollars. Do you need a mentor to be successful with affiliate marketing?

Is there real success going into it by yourself?

Experiences and Results?

For me mentoring is not really required. If the money that you're going to pay for the mentor is all that you have then I highly suggest you save that money and just invest the money in building a high convert funnel. (Graphics, Sales Letter/Video, Tools) which should only cost you around hundreds.

Then when you have your sales funnel ready, you can spend the remaining money to traffic generation and tweaking your funnel.

Personally, I wouldn't want people to get some mentoring and not get a real value from it. It would be better to try building your own sales funnel first and once it's there you can find a mentor that specialize on the problem that you encountered.

Getting a mentor to fix a certain problem on your funnel way way cheaper than getting mentored to build an online business from scratch. So you're sure that your "mentor" is not just marketing but knows what they are talking about.

For example. mentors for Traffic Generation, Facebook Ads etc.

This way, You'll also get fast results fast since your online business is already built and only a small tweak is required.

Why not try to learn it yourself?

If you fail at that, then it means you need STRUCTURE.

At that point, mentoring might HELP if... and only if... the mentor will actually PUSH you to get success.

Otherwise, you should hold off on spending those HARD-EARNED THOUSANDS.

Hey gjhabs8, I have worked with a coach before and it was very beneficial for me. You can certainly succeed without a coach, however being able to model the success of someone who has what you want to achieve can be very eye opening; you will likely learn many new things that you can implement into your business which will boost your success rate and the time it takes you to see your own success. The only thing I would suggest is make sure you do your due-diligence on your coach before you start with him or her. Make sure their credentials are solid and they know what they're talking about.

thousands of dollars is a lot of money (Money you could be spending on traffic).. Most of the stuff that coach will tell you is somewhere stashed away on this forum. So you can pay him thousands of dollars.. or just search this forum and connect with someone who knows the business and doesn't mind sharing a thing or two with you. I am working with a guy right now who has been tremendously helpful and didn't ask me to give him a dime. Just keep asking the right questions and connect with the right people.
