Traffic reports from QR Codes to multiple advertiser's websites

I apologize if this is too print-related, but I haven't had any luck finding an answer anywhere else.

My client has a brochure with 14 different ads for 14 different businesses. Each ad will have a QR code to that business' website. My client wants to get a Google Analytics report for each QR code, so he can show each business (his advertisers) how much traffic came from his brochure.

Am I correct in assuming if my client wants these reports, each business will have to set up Google Analytics (if they haven't already) on their own website and add him as a user so he can generate reports?

Or is there an easier way to do this without involving the advertisers to that degree?

Yes. At least that would the logical first thought - but it would be a logistical nightmare. You can bet that at least one of the advertisers won't get his GA set up before your print deadline on the brochures.

I think so, but you'll have to test it for yourself.

Set up 14 different pages on your/your client's website, one for each advertiser. The QR codes that are printed will have to point to these 14 different pages.

Each of the 14 pages will need the correct javascript GA code for the specific advertiser and javascript redirect code to ultimately forward the traffic to the correct site/page.

Another plus is that then the 14 landing pages can all be set up in the same GA account and and you/your client will automatically have access to the stats from all of the advertisers' pages. setting them up as different pages on the same web site, is similar to putting a "tracking id" on each advertiser's QR code.

Also, you can do a feasibility test of this with a single landing page. If it works for one, it should work for all 14.
