Hi all

I am working on my website in a sports sub niche. How many Amazon products should I promote? There are ways I could refer and hyperlink to several high ticket and low ticket products, but I dont want to make my website look like a blatant sales push.

Any thoughts

Note I have 8 sections of my website with good info from my own experience with about 6700 words in total.

Thanks

Depends how you show the affiliate links.
I have around 3.000.000 affiliate links on my website, but it is not disturbing, beaus they blend in.

PM me, if you like to see how I did it.

How many affiliate links on one page? Or how many affiliate products on your website? If it were something like an Amazon affiliate website you would want as many products as possible. If we're talking about putting Amazon products all on one page, such as in a blog post, I think 5-10 max is ideal.

It depends on your website setup.

I'm going to guess at a traditional blog. If so, I'll tell you the best way to do it: offer preselling. The trend in affiliate website design is away from traditional "banner farms" and more in the direction of preselling or upgrading. When pushing Amazon products you'll do much better on a blog by putting together custom creatives (way more attention-grabbing) and treating the reader to a product review before encouraging the action response. Use some creatives to deliver your audience to an entire section; use others to direct them to specific products; and, throughout your site, spread out your creatives (sidebar positions, deep inside page and post positions) to create a less promotional aesthetic. Doing it this way, you'll capture the attention of your audience, increase click-throughs and conversions, and you'll encourage traffic growth by having what appears to be a "clean" site.

It depends on the size of your website. If you have thousands of pages of content then you can inject thousands of links.

On a single post, you should promote only 1 product. And there may be 4-5 or even more links to that single product. Intext-links work best. Also make product image clickable with Amazon Aff link. At the end of post add a clear call to action link with your affiliate id too.

This is what i do and it converts good.

      It just really depends.

Personally, I usually never go over 5 Products Iam promoting at any given time.

I keep it simple and to the point

It depends on a variety of things like the word count of the article of which you include your links in and such. The theme/layout can also make a big difference. It's hard to say without seeing it.

It is far better to promote high ticket offers. This will make you more money.

Low ticket items are great but you get paid very low commissions.

I would rather earn $200-$500 per customer and not earn $20-$50.
