Got my first article written.. now what??

Hey guys,

Im just taking my first baby steps into internet marketing.. chose the weight loss niche as my first test.. wrote an article built on keywords in my specific niche but am getting stuck on what to do with it exactly.

I was planning on using it to promote a diet affiliate diettogo.com as they have a very user friendly looking site. I have read that putting a link directly in the "resource box" part of the article is not allowed on certain sites and is a bad way to get traffic. I am thinking about creating a domain name with a blog to host the articles and have adsense working for me.. I just dont really know what to do next? Any tips that could help me put this article to most use?

(Im going to be writing many more articles in different lil niches and dont expect this one article to be my sole money maker but it would be nice to know techniques on how to use each one for profit)

Hi there, well first submit that article to the different article sites theres allot so you are no going go have problem with that secon use bookmarks for you article, it would be nice you if do a squidoo page and place part of the article with a link to your complited article

If you are concerned with money, create a free blogger blog. Put some articles on that page, plus a review of the diet program. If they have banners, but a banner in the sidebar. Otherwise, end each article with your affiliate link.

Then, submit articles to article directories, and point the resource box to your blog.

Write article
submit to directories.
Bookmark it.
Re-write the article and submit to your blog as well as web 2.0
Then create a video of your article and submit it to video sites.
Create rss feed of your blog post and submit feeds.

Submit it to your own site.
Rewrite it once, submit to Ezinearticles.
Rewrite again, publish to Squidoo.

Repeat and repeat again with more content - you get the idea

edit: squidoo may not allow it since its weight loss related. Try other sites like Hubpages etc.
