Where would you give away free training?

Hi all - I'm wanting to give away some free training that I created. My hope is to get feedback from complimentary users and use that to make the product better before I promote it.

I know that I can't offer anything here on the Warrior Forum because that's against the rules, but if there's some other sites, or places you guys have used to so the same, I would love to know.

Does anyone have any websites, ideas or suggestions?

Thanks

I would suggest you to create your own website and then provide free training on it..... There are many advantages in this, you will gain trust + free publicity and you can also offer some of your paid services or promote other products.

Great clarification. Sorry I wasn't clearer on that.

I do have my own website, sales page, payment gateway, membership software, etc. I'm fully ready to go and set up. It's just that I want to basically give it away to people who could use it and get their feedback.

You know how you build stuff that based on your own perceptions and values...but as they say 'the customer's always right'... so I wanted to do something different this time and get some feedback from 'beta' users.

Find training platforms such as Udemy and offer your course for free
at first. Go where the students are.

If you don t have a website you could try on ebay, or in platform as docebo, elearning
Or you could open a free blog (google blogspot fer exemple) and insert the link of the blog inside your
warrior forum post. I think it respect the rules because you link the blog and not the link for download
    directly the free materials.

You could post he link answering in some blogs!

Love the Udemy idea from Ray. Do you have a mailing list? If so you can offer this to your subscribers and if not, this would be a great incentive for building a list. Offer the free training for those who subscribe.

Thanks Judy. I'm concerned with the Udemy route that I wouldn't be able to build up a list of my own, which is ultimately the point of what I'm wanting to accomplish.

Does anyone know? [heading over there now to read their TOS...]

I DO have a mailing list, but it's for an entirely different subject matter and worry that it would tick those people off if the offer isn't on topic....

You could run a simple ad promoting the free training, get a ton of people to sign up and use it... then bribe them with an incredible free gift - but only if they give you their honest opinion of your training.

You can send an informational mail to those people from your list to see if they are interested in that kind of training.

You can ask for reviewers here but it costs $5 I think to post.

You can also ask for reviewers in your signature as long as it meets all the signature rules.

Create a website to offer your free services.

make a course and offer free on udemy.

If your content is not in video format share it free on Amazon kindle.

If you have video content, make a channel on youtube and share your videos to public.

Try to take all traffic back to your website. so that you can monetize your traffic later.

You can actually promote on Warrior Forum - put a link in your signature offering your free course, and the more value you contribute on the forum, your signature goes along with it, people will see it, and will take your free training.

    How so?

You can advertise in in your signature (and even capture their email if you like)...

Or post it in the classified ads section.
