Why not search for websites in this market. Check they are collecting email addresses. Sign up to their list. If there's a good match with your offer you can approach them direct. Offer to pay them to send a solo to their list and pay them for each unique click.

In other words take what we do in the IM niche and apply it to any other, just being a little more proactive in finding a potential vendor. If you'd like me expand on this method let me know if I can help.

I believe solo ads will not be effective for the fitness niche. To really profit form solo ads I suggest something in the home business work from home nich. For fitness though, have you considered Facbook PPC ads and/or Microsoft Ad Center advertising through Yahoo & Bing PPC?

Not true. Solo ads are awesome in other niches, especially fitness.. And in many cases much better than the IM circle.

Fitness is a hot market, you're dealing with alot of buyers, and the average person interested in weight loss spends over $300+ year on it.. I imagine that bodybuilders spend even more (since they spend a fortune on supplements and whey protein alone)

With IM solo ads, you're typically dealing with alot of people that are on 50 different lists, that get spammed to death, and are burned out.

To answer OP's original question, to find people to do solo ads with in this space.. You've got tons of options.

      1. First, I'd go to Clickbank. Who has the top bodybuilding products? Contact them. Ask them if they'd do solo ads (or know anyone in the space who does). If they don't get back to you.. try reaching them via Facebook, twitter, skype, and whatever means necessary.

I'd go down the whole list and contact everyone who'se selling a product on clickbank in your niche. These guys could potentially have a list of 300,000+ people (and many of which are buyers).. So if you got just one of these people to do a solo ad with you.. you could be set.

      2. As mentioned earlier, you can go to the top bodybuilding Blogs, Forums, Magazines, and contact them. Many of them have links at the bottom that say 'Advertise with us', 'Advertise', or 'Media Kit'. This will usually give you details on advertising opportunities..

Sometimes they just call Solo ads by a different term (like 'e-newsletter', digital mailing list, etc.)

You could get a major magazine to do a solo ad with you for alot less than you think.. and some of these magazines have MILLIONS of subscribers.

I'd always recommend testing small, but if it converts and makes you money.. then just scale it up.

      3. Beyond that, you can check here to see if anyone is offering solo ads in body building or fitness. Go into the forum called ' Warrior Forum Classified Ads ' and do a search for those keywords and see if anything comes up.

      4. You can check: Udimi.com , Safe-Swaps.com, SoloChecker.com, SoloAdsMarketplace.com For people offering solo ads.. You should be able to find quite a few people at any of those websites.

      5. Check out BuySellAds.com
      https://buysellads.com/buy

They've got alot of people there doing solo ads in fitness.

      6. Oh and here's a powerful one.. Contact CPA networks. ( You can go to OfferVault.com or AffPaying.com to find CPA networks that sell supplements or body building stuff)

Some of these networks have lists of MILLIONS of buyers infitness. Contact them, many are willing to mail their list for you and have smaller packages.

Buy sell ads is a joke. Not recommended.

I made over 200k from there last year alone, so I disagree.

If you had a bad experience in the past, sorry to hear it. But there are tons of solid publishers there.. But just like anything, it comes down to having the right offer, funnel, and vendor.. And then just testing and tracking to find a winning combination.

What you do is go to the google keyword planner and find high demand keyword phrases. Open another browser and go to google and type those a phrase in and then search through the results looking for sites with advertisment offerings. Usually at the bottom of the screen in the footer.

If you don't see anything but you see a sign up form on the site then contact the owner and ask this they do solo mailings

I *believe* Ryan Magin was buying solo ads in the fitness niche so quite possibly selling them too. I'm on his list and he has fitness (for guys) mailing list and into a young male lifestyle stuff (think clothing and dating).
