Buying a domain name in auction at Godaddy

Hello,

I want to buy a domain name which is in auction actually. I'm the only one who has made a bid. At this moment we are at $20.
I have no experienced in this field and I'd like to buy at the lowest possible price obviously.

The end of the auction is set for late august 2015 and I don't want to wait until this date.

Usually when it starts from that low , should I expect to buy it in a decent price? Do you think should I come back to the owner and do a more attractive proposal ?

    Place bid before 30 minutes (end of auction).

    Or check whois information of that domain name and contact directly .

      but for the first one : the auction will finish in august 2015 and I don't want to wait so it can't work
