Created a job board. Please help

Hi, I have created a niche job board. So now what are the next steps? Any suggestions.

I have some ideas, but I would like to see what some of the warriors would do in this situation if they were given a job board with no content.

In the start you need to fill your site with fresh and related jobs. You can take data from other related sites and post on your website (after changing text etc). make facebook fan page. share each post on your FB page. Promote your FB page by buying LIKES from facebook advertising.

Great Thanks, I have been considering facebook a lot, but people have warned me about taking jobs from other sites and posting. Do you think it will be ok? If I could do this, I think I can get to where I want to be much faster.

Why did you create a niche job board out of thin air? Don't tell me the exact specifics.... but did you do research and see who your rival competitors are, or even if it could be massively profitable?

Do you really think you're going to out-advertise Monster, Dice, CareerBuilder, Indeed, and local temp agencies - all who (more than likely) have relationships with these NICHE companies that you will have on your site? What would your monetization model be? Who will you joint venture with?

The problem is that my cousin was the guy with the marketing strategy. I know all about the niche, but my cousin decided to fall out of this project mid project. He was originally a recruiter who would post on sites similar to the one we created. He had thousands of resumes that we can post and he also had the jobs that we could post. He started to complain about how long it was taking and decided to drop out. I was told that I am someone that he could never work with, but thats besides the point.

I worked on this project for a year and added great features that no other site provides in this niche. The marketing duties were pointed towards me as I am originally the UX UI Designer. The other being the programmer. I do have some ideas, but looking for great advice from experienced people.

The top job sites do not really relate to anything that I am doing. There are two sites that are competitors and feel that I can be advantageous with my features. (people do not go on those sites for my niche.)

I am planning on providing job posts for free in the beginning to create traffic and start charging later for posting jobs. In this niche, there is a top site which is very bad UX UI wise and charges $70 per post. This is not what I am expecting to earn, but feel that I can eventually get there.
