INTERNET MARKETING

I just noticed a feature in EzineArticles that I've never seen before, not sure if it's new or if I'm usually brain dead while I'm there :p

When you log into your account and you look down in the left column, you see a "Suggestions" area where your readers can suggest topics for other articles for you to write! I just noticed I have one suggestion sitting there since January - whoops!

But it's a good idea for an article so I'm whipping it out today! Check your account and see if you might have some great article ideas courtesy of your readers!

My readers told me I should write about barbies... Is that strange? That could be a good idea. Perhaps someone wants to take that idea and run with it

I don't know if it is new either but since last week I noticed I had a suggestion from one reader to write about a specific topic. I think that's cool!

  That IS cool! It's a great way to get feedback from your readers and give them what they want. I'll have to keep a closer eye on that, there's only been one request so far but you never know.

It is a nice credit because it shows that readers really appreciate your articles. Considering how many baaaad articles there are on Ezinarticles, you should be proud.

Just wondering how successful article writing is? I've read all the bum guides etc and dabbled a little (mostly guitar stuff) but I have never really had to do it since I have other ways of driving traffic. How does this method compare with organic traffic and the like?

I've been article marketing since 2005 (maybe 2004 - not sure exactly) and I've gotten it down to a science that doesn't take long at all.

Do you HAVE to do it? Not really, especially since you said you've found other ways of driving traffic. Personally I enjoy writing the articles and distributing them, but I know not everyone does!
