I see pretty link lite is no longer available.

Know of any domain name specific URL shortener alternatives?

Hey all,
It's available again - I just received notification that the update was ready - I guess that's
why Blair Williams negated the link for the time being.

It's available on wordpress.org

I use redirection plug in for a long time. It works great.
I had pretty links in one of my domains. Will check it later if it is still working.

No, the prettylink is WORKing, I have checked my plugin right after reading your announcement, what stament did you see? I have installed PL in my old wordpress and it stills works.

I think they've removed Pretty link lite from wordpress.org because they are doing an update. The same thing happened in 2012 where the plugin wasn't available.

I use WP Shorties - it's no longer in the WordPress directory as it hasn't been updated in quite a while but it still works fine.

Hi All,

Thanks for the responses - pretty Link Lite still works fine on my sites, it's just no longer available as a download from wordpress.org. I just wanted to clear that up as some misconstrued my question as it wasn't working anymore. i had a friend ask for such a plugin and i directed him to pretty link lite which he said is no longer available. I checked and what he said is true.

Thanks for the heads up, I've used Pritty Link and even upgraded to the pro version but I used to let my students know they can get the free version. I guess they will no longer give it away

I do recommend upgrading to the pro version, its worth every penny.
