Your Address Listed On Autoresponders?

Hello, I hear that your business address must be listed on your newsletters and autoresponders.

Is that true and is there a way to avoid it?

Right now I have my home address and don't want that listed. Are there any alternatives?

Thanks

You could get a PO Box and that would solve the problem.

get a p.o. box. That is probably the easiest and most cost effective solution.

Yes I rented a PO Box. You can actually do it online in the US. It will tell you if boxes are available at the PO of your choice and what size. You have to go in and sign for it.
After that you can pay the rent online and check it every so often for junk mail.

You can also get a US address at a mail forwarding company. Just do a search for `mail forwarding company. There are many out there that only charge a one time fee and you pay for shipments individually as they are shipped. Chances are you won`t get very much sent to that address anyway.

I got a PO Box for that very reason. They are expensive though. About US$48 for 6 months in New Jersey. What a ripoff. It's the smallest box they offer as well. The larger ones cost double or more. PO Boxes used to be cheap as dirt. I guess they are making up the shortfall by fleecing PO Box buyers.

I don't think $8 per month can be considered fleecing, especially when it alleviates
the need to put your personal address (if you don't have an office) in your emails to
clients. I consider $8 a month worth it to keep a nutjob from showing up on my front
porch...or in my bedroom in the middle of the night.

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.
