I have traffic, but not sales sense.

I am a web developer but lack the sales, marketing experience to know how to best maximize the revenue on my websites.

I have built out two websites in the same niche, and generate income through AdSense only. I have over 200,000 pageviews per month and have 1000's of email addresses to market to. A lot of potential, but need a salesperson who can do the marketing and selling. Once upon a time I had a salesperson who sold one ad campaign for $18k for 3-months ad display. Negotiable compensation.

Here are the areas driving traffic:
  1. Very active Forums (tens-of-thousands of high quality problem-solving threads, with email addresses)
  2. Niche related business listing/links database
  3. Manufacturer rating system (very active)
I recently made simple templates that are Google mobile-friendly and increased traffic by 35%. This month so far = 235,446 Page Views. I am now redesigning website using Bootstrap3, HTML5, and CSS3, and it would be the perfect time to build in whatever sales/marketing could increase revenue.

I just need the right person with a proven track record. Who can you recommend? I'm looking for legitimate, one-person referrals.

Have you checked if the traffic that you're getting are real? There are many spam bots that can mess up your tracking.

I own a website and I'm getting a lot of traffic but when I checked the stats carefully I was surprised that 90% of my traffic is fake.

Check the landing page and how long your traffic is staying on the page, if the bounce rate is very high most likely the reason why your not getting sale is because the traffic is not a real person.

Once it's real check if the buy button is working, you can also ask the help on the copywriting section of the forum to review your sales copy.

Bots are getting clever now, they can generate high time on site and PPV.

Transparent links may show the sources of traffic where bots come from. I mean, only bots will click those through. ))

So, IMHO, the main indicator of traffic quality is the number of sales (conversions).

Let me clarify, since it seems the replies are off base...

I have the real traffic and making real revenue. I feel there are other areas that can be taken advantage of to INCREASE revenue, but don't feel I have the marketing sense to accomplish on my own. I am looking for someone who can take the ball and run with it. I need your referrals to that person.

You'll save a lot of money if you hire a consultant to give you a game plan. They'll assess everything and give you a no-nonsense instruction manual. Many of the tasks you'll be able to complete yourself; some (or all) you can outsource.
