Cost of a review site? $$$$?

Guys, what is the maximum amount you would pay a freelancer to make you a reveiw website? The site is not too complex by the way.

Will it have content? Or are we basically talking a website "shell"?

      I'm new with "making websites"
So I've already written the reviews in mcirosoft word ,
I just need the freelancer to design everything to look good.
I'll be the one to write the reviews and stuff.
(Not sure if I make any sense )

Most of the time it fully depends on the quality of the work. You have to see the quality of the work. then you can decide the price. thanks

  • It depends.

Attempt to base this on time. How long will it take on average*average hourly rate

Judging by the vagueness of your question, it says to me you're not interested in quality, or attention to detail, and are focused on what you can do to make money, so I'd go elsewhere.

Why not get a decent Wordpress theme and then upload what you've written and see if you can rank anything before spending more cash out of pocket? (note, get your own domain for it though)

You can always update once the thing is up and a few sales might make a hundred bucks seem pretty trivial-

Read our most recent articles on wine, this month it's that unappreciated region called Napa Valley.

Not too complex? Maximum I would pay is $300, but I'd try to get it for under $200, assuming your idea of "not too complex" is the same as mine.

I've had some fairly complex membership sites done for me for $500 to $700, so I'm just giving you a round figure and payment expectations from freelancers who live in places like Bangladesh.

You'll pay more for quality work from people in other parts in the World.

I agree with Joan. $300 should be a fair price...but then again it depends on a lot of different factors.

On a side note why not get a get a drag and drop builder (there are a few - just search on Google) and do it yourself...it's gonna be much more cheaper and with more flexibility.

It really depends on so many factors. I often give them away for free to students and have my designer put them together for $100 to $200. If all you're looking for is something fairly simple, I really wouldn't fork out more than $200 - 250.
