Upgraded AWeber vs Original AWeber

I cant make up my mind whether to go with a white label version of Aweber or to go with the upgraded version.

After the major AWeber upgrade the price rocketed but the analytics features improved dramatically.

With the upgrade your first 10,000 subscribers would cost you $40 instead of $20 (Not an issue) but if you are on $25000 subscribers (which I'm not) the price is $149 compared to $35 per month.

So pre upgrade Aweber also has analytics, admittedly not as many as the new Aweber. So I am trying to find out if the Analytics on steroids which the new Aweber have is worth the massive price increase over the old Aweber.

If I wanted to get the pre - upgrade AWeber, I can do that by signing up for a White Label version, such as Prosender, Profollow, Turboresponders etc. The back office is all run by Aweber anyway.

1. Are the increased analytics of the upgrade worth it?

2. Did you upgrade or stay with the original plan?

3. From what I can see the pre-upgrade (original) plan is identical to the White Label versions. Therefore in your opinion is there any advantage for me to go with Aweber over Prosender, Profollow etc?

Come back here when you get to 25,000 subscribers and tell us if you really feel the pinch of paying that extra $114/month.

I am up for renewal with Aweber in two days time. I'm sticking wiht the old version because I'm not highly profitable yet. As my income increases of course I will up my spending and probably upgrade. But you need to do it only if your income supports paying extra out each month.

As with most of aweber's features, their analytics are another halfassed implementation with little integration flexibility and extremely limited use cases which are better than nothing, but not by much. Aweber's good at sending mail, it's never been good at lead tracking, managing opt-ins, CRM, event-driven mailing, or much of anything else. My guess is people who need such have already implemented in spite of aweber, and the remainder don't need fine-grained tracking. Other than timed campaigns aweber doesn't do much that wasn't being done 10 years ago.
