How much PA or DA you want?

Wich of the two you consider more valuable?

PA - Page Authority
DA - Domain Authority

...And what number of PA or DA you consider good enough?

For example: 30+? 50+?

Exactly. Metrics can be faked way too easily. Anyone who follows them religiously like this is a fool.

Yet most seo-ists use private blog networks with high PR-PA-DA and get results...

An aged domain, with genuine PR5+ and 30+ PA-DA...you think it will not rank better than a new domain?

          I'm an SEO.

PR has not been updated in 18 months. There is no such thing anymore as a "genuine PR 5+". PA/DA is highly inaccurate. I have spammed the crap out of domains and pushed their DA over 50.

So what is your suggestion for good seo then?

Focusing on DA/PA, TF, CF, PR, MR, or any other BS does not improve rankings. Simple as that.

Good technical SEO, internal linking, and quality external links will go a long way towards building good rankings.

That a interesting statement,So when you add backlinks to a websites the trust flow don't mean nothing to the power of the link in getting higher in the ranks?

I use all the metrics and it seems to help me, and always have but if you no another way for me to do seo ill be so happy to learn.

when i do any client stuff i just double up on metric stats seems to work.

of course reach content and keyword study does come into play.

and even the loading time is a fact know days, and all them social media stats and sticky's and blogs....

if you have found a way as you describe please let me no as my fingers hurt of a night time.

Trust Flow is a metric that Majestic designed and is based on their link database. It might be a sign of the strength of the page. It might not be. It is not 100% right, and it is not used by Google in any way, shape, or form.

Same goes for all of the metrics.

Now if they all line up, that could be a good indicator. It still can be wrong though. I have spammed the crap out of sites and seen their DA go to over 50 and TF over 30.

I'm more interested in links from quality websites on relevant pages, regardless of what the metrics tell me. The metrics can be a guide, but I'm not going to turn down a relevant link because the TF on the page is only 4. I'll still take it.

Don't get hung up on metrics.

PA and DA > 30 is a good value. (you can use opensiteexplorer.org to know this value)
It s hard estimate what is the most important value.

Of course there are many parameters to define a website value.

    Google Pagerank
    Alexa value
    Majestic seo

    Other tools for webmaster, webanalytics

Here's the thing about domain authority, trust flow and all that nonsense- it is 100% meaningless.

These metrics are based mainly on backlinks without any consideration to actual traffic, page views, bounce rates, conversions or social signals; all of which Google uses to properly rank you. Likewise, it does not look at the quality of your content either, so these formulas are just one big guess based on very limited information.

Here's the kicker though- Moz, Arefhs, Alexa, Majestic and every other tool you can name ignores the biggest metric of all- actual rankings by the search engines. Let's say you are in the #1 position for your top 25-30 keywords and you're getting 10-20k visitors a week off of organic traffic...that means you have a pretty awesome site, right? Not according to the "authorities" above though; if you don't have a strong linking profile then they think you suck....even though Google, Yahoo and Bing strongly disagrees. So don't try to impress Moz- impress Google and you'll come out a heck of a lot better.

With that said, most IMers still look at these sites to use as a general gauge of how their site is doing in terms of backlinks, but that's a very small part of the overall equation when it comes to SEO. So as long as you're focusing on creating more traffic and making your visitors happy, then things like DA and PA do not matter at all.

Yeah, but I do not think any of those metrics should take into account actual rankings. That would be kind of foolish. They are a lot like PageRank. They are attempting to measure the quality of incoming links. Much like PR, they have nothing to do with rankings.

They don't have to do with rankings.

Yet a domain with PR-DA-PA-Aged ...with the same content etc. with a new domain, will rank faster

Not necessarily. The domain could have trashy links preventing it from ranking. None of the metrics will tell you that.

And domain age is not really a ranking factor. Link age is, in my opinion, but not so much domain age.
